Bauble nativity house
Bauble nativity house
I found these unique Christmas baubles and wanted to display them in a different way.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Wooden planks
- Small metal hooks
- Wood glue
- Christmas baubles/decoration
- Embellishments according to your theme (ribbon, glitter, small wood cut-outs)
- Paint and paintbrush (optional)

STEP 1: MEASURE & CUT
Determine the size of your house according to the decoration you will use.
My measurements were: sides 13 cm, roof top 10 cm, bottom 10 cm. Width is 10 cm.
Mark lengths and cut to size. Rooftop is cut at 45o on each end.

STEP 2: GLUE SIDE WALLS
Glue the side walls to the outside of the bottom plank. Ensure that it is straight – support with a heavy object until the glue is dry.

STEP 3: GLUE THE ROOF
Glue the rooftops together. I used an angle clamp to keep them in place until the glue dried.

STEP 4: SCREW THE HOOK
Once the glue is dry, mark the inside middle of the roof and screw in a small metal hook.

STEP 5: ADD EMBELLISHMENTS
You can either decide to paint the wood, or add embellishments. In my case the edges were very rough, so I pasted ribbon on the sides and bottom, and florist moss on the roof.

STEP A: GLUE ROOF TO SIDES & EMBELLISH ROOF
Glue the roof to the sides, add some embellishments on top and let dry completely.

FINAL
Ready for Christmas!
