Collage: Capture your senses
Collage: Capture your senses
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Box frame
- Square wood block
- Scrapbook paper
- Various trinkets such as pictures, stickers, embellishments or ribbons in a theme of your choice
- Glue: cold glue, glue stick, double sided tape & foam
- Paint
- Paint brushes

Step 1
I measured out a grid of 9 squares on the wood block to centre my layout.
If you are using an already existing box frame, paint the inside of the frame beforehand and skip Step 6.

Step 2
Design the layout of your collage.
Remember to take a photo with your cell phone for reference in case you need it in Step 5!

Step 3
I used double-sided tape for the scrapbook paper for my background (Cold glue might cause creases).

Step 4
If you wish, paint the wood block with chalk paint.
Use cold glue (wood glue) to attach the wood block in the centre of your collage once the paint is dry.

Step 5
Now the fun begins: start putting your collage together. I made some changes from my initial layout as I went along – use the photo you took in Step 2 for reference. I used 2 mm double- sided foam to create some depth to my collage.

Step 6
Paint the inside of the frame before you assemble it, if you are not using an existing one.

Step 7
Finish off your collage by painting the outside of the frame.

RESULT
Display your multi-sensory collage of what inspires you!
