Create magic with triangles
Create magic with triangles
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:- Chalk paint
- Paint brushes
- Masking tape
HERE’S WHAT TO DO:
1. Measure and mark the triangles. I adjusted and rearranged the layout of my triangles as I was painting them.
2. If you are using PVA or enamel paint, apply a basecoat layer first and let it dry for 24 hours. Paint two layers of the first colour and let them dry completely before moving on to the next colour, as you have to mask off the next area to be painted.
3. Remove all the masking tape when the paint is dry.
4. Decorate! You can stick 3-D elements onto your triangles, if you so wish or anything that catches your creative fancy.
TO ENAMEL OR NOT?
PVA OR ENAMEL PAINT? Poly Vinyl Acetate (PVA/emulsion) paint is water based and typically applied to masonry and plastic surfaces, while enamel paints are normally used on wood and metal. Enamel is traditionally oil-based, although water-based or latex-based enamels are available. Enamel is considered best for materials in regular and outside use as it protects well.
