Die winter is besig om sy baadjie uit te trek en die lente wink.
Maar dalk sien jy nie eens die lentebloeisels raak nie.

Dalk bevind jy jouself in ‘n uitdagende situasie, hetsy werksgewys of persoonlik ten opsigte van verhoudingskwessies. Hierdie uitdagings kan voel of dit jou oorweldig en jy dalk soos die spreekwoordelike volstruis net jou kop in die grond wil druk.

Dit kan so erg wees dat jy voel of jy in die diepste afgrond staar, daar waar jy ’n deel van jouself leer ken of in die oë kyk wat jy nie gedink het bestaan nie.
Maar die oorwinning in sulke situasies kan jou uiteindelik help om minder te ly en die vele voordele van oorwinning te smaak – om die gevoel van waardering, vervulling en verligting te ervaar. Dit is dus wel die moeite werd om deur die moeilike tyd te werk of die uitdaging te oorkom.
Soos my ma altyd gesê het: “As jy nie lus is om iets te doen nie, doen dit net dan is dit klaar.”

Oorwinning is soet, en mag elke bloeisel wat jy ruik jou opnuut aan hierdie boodskap herinner. Mag die vreugde wat oorwinning bring, jou sterker anderkant uitbring.

Dear Reader

Winter is taking off its jacket and spring is beckoning.
But perhaps you are not even noticing the spring blossoms.

Perhaps you find yourself in a challenging, uneasy situation either at work or in your personal life. These challenges can feel overwhelming and you may prefer, like the proverbial ostrich, to just hide your head in the ground.
It can be so bad that you feel like you are staring into the deepest abyss, where you are getting to know a part of yourself that you did not even think existed.

But victory in such situations can ultimately help you to suffer less and taste the many benefits of victory, again experiencing the feeling of appreciation, fulfilment and relief. So, it is worthwhile to work through the difficult time or overcome the challenge.
As my mother always said, “If you do not feel like doing something, just do it then it is done.”

Victory is sweet and may every blossom you smell remind you anew of this message. May the joy that victory brings, transport you to a place of greater strength.
