Make a statement with your own wooden centre piece
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:- Wood varnish
- Paint brush
- 4 x droppers/wooden legs
- Off-cut piece of felt • Solid wooden plank
- Sander and sandpaper
- Wood glue
HERE’S WHAT TO DO:
Step 1
Measure and cut the droppers to the desired lengths. Sand your droppers (if you are not using smooth store-bought wooden legs). Sand rough edges of your plank.
Step 2
Cut circles from felt and glue to the feet of the legs.
Step 3
Measure and mark areas for the feet and glue them to the bottom of the wooden plank.
Step 4
Once the glue is dry, apply 2 coats of varnish to the plank, giving ample time for the first coat to dry.
Enjoy your statement centre piece!
