Marbled Terracotta pots
Marbled Terracotta pots
DO IT YOURSELF:
Try this fresh look on the pots you use for your craft supplies – viola! Stunning, functional décor items.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Spray paint for multi surfaces in your colours of choice; 3 colours work best
- Terracotta or plastic pots
- Latex gloves
- Wooden spoon/skewer
- Container filled with water (big enough to fit your pots)

HERE’S WHAT TO DO:
Work outside or in a well-ventilated area, as the fumes of the spray paint are quite overwhelming.
Cover your surface with old newspapers. Make sure your pots are dry and free of any dust or sand. Fill your plastic container with enough water to cover your pots.
Quickly spray your first colour of paint on the water to form a film, followed by your second and third colour. Swirl the colours with the wooden spoon/skewer to form a marble effect.

Slowly dip your pot in the water and carefully shake it to break the film as you lift it out of the water.

Add more paint if needed for additional pots or try another container with different colours.

Set aside to dry thoroughly.
