When I fell pregnant with our first child, we only owned a single cab bakkie, so we needed to buy a family car. We decided on our golden Toyota Etios, the perfect family car. It is so comfortable, very spacious and very economical. I received my new car 2 weeks before my son was born. In the past 6 and a half years our golden carriage has taken us on many adventures and never left us stranded. We have travelled to Outjo Wildsfees, Omaruru Game Lodge and even as far as Divundu last December, as well as many other adventures. Our golden carriage has almost 80 000 km on the clock and has only every been serviced by Toyota. Our second child is due in less than 2 months and we look forward to many more happy and safe family adventures in our Toyota Etios. Attached is a photo of the day I received my car - the first car I could call my own!

Growing up, there’s always been one brand in our house, Toyota AKA Hard Body. No wonder I fell in love with a Toyota Hilux Legend 45! As much as it was a second-hand bakkie, this beast is still going strong after 8 years of good service. It took me through my motherhood journey, and to places I will live to cherish forever. From rushing me to hospital to go deliver my babies, to bringing our babies safely home from hospital. From rushing the kids to school in the busy streets of Windhoek, to exploring dunes in the Namib desert with no hesitance and taking us safely through the flooded roads of Namibia especially in the South and the Four-O regions during a December holiday. They say a car is a liability but My Hardy body has been nothing but the best-mommy friend and a non-replaceable family member. Cheers to many more years of adventures ahead of us!"
