No matter where you live in Namibia, you would all agree that a good internet connection is part of what pleases us. That is why we decided to give you some feedback from clients who installed the MTC Spectra Home and the experience they have with it.My husband and I share our house with our four-legged children: 5 dogs and 3 cats. We stay in Osona Village near Okahandja. I am an Assitant Accountant and he is a Sales Representative.
What or who influenced your decision to sign up for MTC Spectra Home?
We struggled with our previous Wi-Fi and I got Spectra’s contact details from a former work colleague.
What was your experience before you had MTC Spectra Home?
We struggled with Wi-Fi connections, especially with the speed that was just not what we needed for all our online activities.
What are your top four uses for having a good internet connection?
We use a lot of streaming services such as YouTube, Netflix, TikTok etc. I often use the internet when I work after hours.
What was the process involved in getting MTC’s Spectra Home?
I completed the application form and forwarded it, together with the necessary documentation, to Spectra Home. They issued me with a job card number and sent a technician all the way to Osona Village to install the Spectra device.
At the end of this contract would you sign up again? With the same package?
I will definitely sign up again and with the same package because the 25MBPs is more than enough for everything. I will even have a look and see whether they have specials and maybe apply for a bigger package.
Do you check your incoming and outgoing Mbps and are they as expected?
Yes, they are.
Are you connected via mobile or fixed services?
Don’t quite understand question. We have an antenna on our house roof with a cable which connects to the rooter in our living room.
During this whole process, what were the pros and cons for you?
Pros: We do not struggle with connections or signal getting lost. If there are any national problems, Spectra informs us via SMS.
Cons: We hit a bit of a snag in the beginning regarding the account because we did not receive invoices but once that was sorted out, we did not have any problems. I would therefore suggest that the customer confirms his contact details especially the email address and makes sure that the monthly invoice is received. A debit order will be the best option to ensure that the amount is deducted each month.

I will definitely, and I already have recommended Spectra to several of our family and friends.
