Happiness is relocating, but still being connected

No matter where you live in Namibia, you would all agree that a good internet connection is part of what pleases us. That is why we decided to give you some feedback from clients who installed the MTC Spectra and the experience they have with it.

Our client is a young lady living in Avis, Windhoek.
1.What or who influenced your decision to sign up for MTC Spectra Home?
We had been seeing a lot of Spectra adverts since we moved to Windhoek and the connection we had at that time, was very slow and unreliable. After calling MTC and doing more research on what packages they offer, we decided to switch our current contract to Spectra Home.

2.What was your experience before you had MTC Spectra Home?
We already had a MTC contract (wifi router) with a 120gig cap and it just wasn’t enough data to last the entire month. I work from home and require uncapped data with a stable connection.

3.How many MBPS did you sign up for and for what period?
The 25MBPS line for a two-year period.

4.What are your top four uses for having a good internet connection?
Working from home means I have many Teams meetings which need to have a stable connection. Downloading and sending files to clients every day, streaming Netflix over weekends and playing PlayStation online.

5.What was the process involved in getting MTC’s Spectra?
A visit to their Grove Mall store to update our current contract with the new Spectra details. One week later, the line and router were installed. The men were very friendly and did a neat job.

6.At the end of this contract would you sign up again? With the same package?
Yes, I am more than happy with the package we have currently to sign up again.

7.Do you check your incoming and outgoing MBPS and are they as expected?
I have checked the speed numerous times and they are always in line with what we are signed up for.

8.Are you connected via mobile or fixed services?
Fixed Service

9.During this whole process, what were the pros and cons for you?
Pros would definitely be that the process was quick. Cons would be that if we had to move, we would have to pay a relocation fee for our line to be moved, which means waiting to be back online.

10.Would you recommend this service to others?
Yes, it is a reliable and stable connection. I have not yet had any issues since we signed up for the Spectra package.
