Dulux, bringing colour to people’s lives

In 1931 Dulux launched their first durable alkyd-based paint in the UK. After the Second World War people were quick to realise that buildings decorated with Dulux before the war, looked ten times better than those painted with lead-based products. Dulux managed to bring colour to people’s lives in a very dark time and continued to become the world’s leading paint brand. In the 1960’s another icon was born when an Old English Sheep Dog made his debut as Dulux’s mascot.

Dulux was the first paint brand to advertise on television and has ever since become known for its fluffy furry friend. Dulux South Africa has been part of the home decorating scene for close on sixty years and 23 years ago JF Paints joined them in distributing to the Northern and Western Cape. In 2013 Namibia was added to JF Paint’s portfolio where it has been driving innovation in this beautiful country ever since. This enables us to help clients quickly and efficiently in the future.”

According to Rousseau, Dulux is synonymous with premium quality.
