The property covers 3 295 ha and is bordering the Etosha National Park to the east near the Anderson Gate leading to Namutoni. The nearest town is Tsumeb, approximately 100 km to the south east of the farm. Although located in a rainfall area of more than 500 mm and an official carrying capacity of 8 ha per live stock unit (450 kg), bush-encroachment is quite severe and should be addressed. Vegetation is quite thick including several bush and tree species such as Sicklebush, Swarthaak, Mopani, Tamboti, Marula, etc. The landscape is rather flat and the soil is mostly a heavy clay type. It is primarily a cattle farm, but several game species such as eland, kudu, oryx, zebra and giraffe are roaming freely on the property. Since it is located close to the entrance to Etosha National Park, developing a lodge might render a possibility to enter the tourism sector. The farm is subdivided in several camps with a game-proof fence on the western border (15 km) that is maintained by government. Four boreholes have been drilled delivering water to 3 reservoirs. Water is strong, shallow and of good quality. The farmstead comprises a 3-bedroom house, two store rooms and three worker’s houses. A solar system provides electricity to the farmhouse. The farm is subdivided into 6 camps. The price of N$ 12 million includes commission, but no transfer fees or VAT that might be attracted by a transaction
