The property comprises two farms, covering 7 000 ha. It is located approximately 46 km to the north-west of Otavi and bordering Etosha National Park. The topography is rather flat with several hills and koppies providing for an attractive landscape. Mopani trees are the dominant plant species with Bergsering on the hills and small mountains. Several grass species adapted to the clay soils provide for excellent grazing. The average rainfall is in the order of 500 mm per annum with a frost-free climate. Previously the property was utilized as a cattle farm, but the current owner transformed it into a hunting farm. The original farmhouse was converted into a five-bedroom self-catering lodge, ideal for family groups, while an upper-class lodge with two chalets, accommodating 16 people, were also constructed. Since the main business is hunting, a well planned and up-market slaughtering and meat processing facility is part of the infrastructure. There is abundance of underground water and two 5-ha centre pivot irrigation systems where installed where maize and wheat are produced as cash crops. However, the main purpose for the irrigation development is to provide extra feed for the game in case of a drought. Seventeen species of game, including Damara Dik-Dik and Sables are roaming freely on the property. Apart from these game species, there are also predators such as Jackal, Caracal and Leopard on the farms as well as Cheetah and sometimes Lions and elephant from Etosha National park. Because of its location and infrastructure, this property has a huge potential for tourism.
