This is a delicious and super-easy recipe to make for a light lunch. Enjoy it at a lazy Sunday lunch outside.
Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Unroll the puff pastry without using a rolling pin and score an edge all the way around, about 1 cm in from the edge.
Brush with the milk wash and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
Mix cream cheese and wasabi. Use as much wasabi as you can handle; the recipe is better with a little bite to it.
Spread the cream cheese over the puff pastry (on the inside of the scoring).
Top with smoked salmon, pickled ginger, rocket and radishes. Finish with a generous sprinkling of toasted sesame seeds.
Tip from Aléza
I really like the cream cheese layer, so when I make it, I add a more generous amount.
