We look back with pride to an achievement now widely hailed as a leading-edge project. Ten years ago, in September 2015, the late President Hage Geingob laid the first brick at the Osona Village Housing Development. That moment was more than symbolic, it was a promise. A promise that every Namibian, regardless of background, could one day call a place home. What began as a development for our brave men and women in uniform has blossomed into a thriving, inclusive community. Today, Osona Village is not only a haven for those who serve, but also a cherished retirement destination and a place where families grow, dreams are nurtured and futures are built. To reflect on what we%u2019ve achieved:%u20222 367 homes were completed%u20222 275 families are now living in comfort%u20222 194 homeowners proudly hold the keys to their futureThese numbers are more than statistics, they represent lives transformed, dignity restored and communities empowered. This remarkable journey would not have been possible without the strategic foresight of the Public Investment Property Fund (PIPF), which acquired 1 100 hectares of land near Okahandja in 2013. Nor would it have flourished without the unwavering support of the Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF), whose initial investment of N$250 million has grown into a robust N$1.1 billion portfolio, fueling progress and prosperity. To our Government partners, thank you for believing in the power of publicprivate collaboration. To our developers, banks, and service providers, thank you for your expertise and dedication. To our homeowners, thank you for your trust and for choosing Osona Village as your sanctuary. And to the board of trustees, management, and staff of the PIPF Trust, your commitment, resilience and vision have laid the foundation for a legacy that will endure for generations. As we commemorate this 10-year journey, let us not only celebrate what has been built, but also recommit ourselves to what lies ahead. The demand for affordable housing remains urgent, and Osona Village stands as a beacon of what is possible when we work together.Let us continue to build. Let us continue to dream. And let us continue to ensure that every Namibian has the opportunity to say, %u201cI am home.%u201d PTotal RegistrationsValuesUnitsAverage Price / UnitFinancial Institutions1 375 337 466.562023679 850.45Cash Buyers107 404 687.03 171628 097.58Total amount1 482 742 153.592194675 816.84Average Transfer ValueTotal Financial Investment
