1.What or who influenced your decision to sign up for MTC Spectra Home?
My sister and her husband installed Spectra 50 MB in their home and, based on the internet speed they received, I convinced my parents to upgrade to Spectra Home.

2.What was your experience before you had MTC Spectra Home?
We had the normal 125 GB per month capped wifi of MTC, but the wifi was just not enough for a family of 4 people, so we moved to uncapped, because we need A LOT of wifi in our house.

3.How many MBPS did you sign up for and for what period?
The 50 MBPS line for a two-year period.

4.What are your top 4 uses for having a good internet connection?
In our house we these days use wifi to stream Netflix and DSTV. We also use it for work and gaming. I game a lot, and I need a fast internet connection when other people are also using wifi in the house to stream or work. Spectra Home is capable of servicing several devices.

5.What was the process involved in getting MTC’s Spectra Home?
You can contact MTC via email and ask them to upgrade your wifi. They will then assist you with the needed information and documentation to complete. After that they will send someone over to your house to do the installation.

6.At the end of this contract would you sign up again? With the same package?
Yes, if they get a faster internet speed, I would even prefer to upgrade again.

7.Do you check your incoming and outgoing MBPS and are they as expected?
Yes, we use internet speed testers and it is usually what we paid for.

8.Are you connected via mobile or fixed services?
Fixed Service

9. During this whole process, what were the pros and cons for you?
The pros of the process? Sign up is quick. More pros? The uncapped wifi of the Spectra Home makes it convenient when streaming, watching movies and downloading huge files.
The cons – your line is fixed so every time you move, you have to pay a relocation fee and it takes a few days before it can be done. Unfortunately Spectra Home can currently not be installed if there is not a direct line of sight from your house.

10. Would you recommend this service to others?
Yes, it is a reliable and stable connection.
